Sucrée began with a memory – the delight of a pink lollipop hammer in a small hand, sticky fingers, and laughter echoing somewhere in the background. This work is a love letter to that fleeting, untouchable world of childhood, where nothing needed to make sense and everything was possible.
The layered forms and unexpected colours reflect that same joyful chaos – like a candy shop of thoughts, tumbling over one another without rules. There is no logic here, only feeling: lightness, play, and a sweet kind of rebellion.
With Sucrée, Maison Alodi does not ask for analysis, but for a moment of softness. A reminder of what it felt like to be carefree, to look at the world with wide eyes – and to believe that even a hammer could be made of sugar.
