What remains when you strip everything away except the core?
In Noyau doré – “golden core” – the heart is both literally and figuratively the radiant centre. Like a pulsing source of energy, the gold glows between deep hues and vibrant accents. The eye is drawn to the centre, yet constantly wanders, strays, and finds its way back again.
The composition is rhythmic, layered, yet never closed. Each brushstroke feels like an echo of a thought, a memory, a feeling. The work invites us to pause – to keep looking until the gold reveals itself.
